Alvecote Wood is a place I have wanted to visit for some time. Doc Sarah ran a macro photography class today which gave me just the excuse to go and visit, as well as learn the basics of using a macro lens. Hint: she is an excellent teacher and the course is a seriously reasonable price. I had a great day and met some really nice people. These are some of the reasonable (but still learning the trade) photos I managed to take) Sadly, Sarah died in 2018.
